Shopify gives you a store that’s yours: your customers, your pricing, your margin. SmartB is what keeps it and your marketplace channels on one stock figure and one honest view of the money.
Most sellers reach their own store the same way: marketplaces first, then a storefront of their own so the customer, the pricing and the margin belong to them. What you inherit is a split. Stock sits in two places, the money arrives on two different clocks — gateway settlements from your store, payouts from the marketplaces — and nobody can say which channel is actually paying until someone rebuilds it in a spreadsheet.
What SmartB does
The pool you sell from is the same whether the order comes from your storefront or a marketplace — so a good day on one channel doesn’t oversell the other.
Direct orders join marketplace orders in one workspace, so your team picks, packs and dispatches from a single list instead of two workflows.
Storefront takings arrive through whichever gateway you chose — Billplz, GrabPay, Stripe, Atome, ShopBack — each with its own settlement file, timing and deductions. Marketplace takings arrive as payouts net of fees. All of it is pulled in over the API and matched back to the orders behind it, so which gateway you use stays a commercial decision rather than a reporting constraint.
Direct margin usually beats marketplace margin — but not always, once discounts, delivery and returns are counted. SmartB shows the comparison on real numbers.
Selling direct means buyers who ask you for a proper invoice. Issue and submit LHDN MyInvois e-invoices from inside SmartB, on the same records as the order.
Worth separating the two halves, because they are at different stages. The money side is already a direct connection: settlement data is pulled from Shopify over the API and matched to the orders behind it, alongside your marketplace payouts. Today you bring your Shopify orders into SmartB and run stock, fulfilment, reconciliation, e-invoicing and reporting across every channel. What is still on the roadmap is the order and stock leg — storefront orders arriving on their own and stock levels pushed back to the store. Join the waitlist for that release.
Join the sync waitlistThat’s the point of it. Storefront and marketplace orders share one order queue, one stock figure and one set of financial records, so you stop reconciling two businesses against each other.
Yes. Your storefront, theme and checkout stay exactly where they are. SmartB sits behind them, handling stock, fulfilment, reconciliation, invoicing and reporting across every channel.
Settlement data is pulled from Shopify over the API — nothing is exported by hand — and matched against the orders it belongs to, the same way marketplace payouts are. Takings, fees and refunds land against real sales rather than arriving as a lump sum you have to work backwards from.
Yes — margin by channel after discounts, fees, delivery and returns, so you can see what a direct order is really worth next to a marketplace one.
