The challenge

Work-in-progress stock had to be tracked across several production stages with constantly changing demand — and much of the floor team were foreign workers with limited English.

What we built

Touch-screen terminals wired to weight readers print QR-coded bag labels on the spot, and a wireless mobile app scans stock as it moves. Big buttons and large fonts make the interface hard to get wrong.

The outcome

End-to-end tracking from raw material to warehouse, visible online in real time.

Custom product development, digitised end to end

The challenge

Custom product requests from sales reps worldwide had to run through complex approval workflows — while staying feasible to actually produce.

What we built

Digital request forms feed a management dashboard that shows only the fields relevant at each step, and a request engine notifies the right HOD at each stage.

The outcome

A 100% custom-fit system meeting almost every requirement — with a synergistic lift from the standard modules alongside it.

Serial-level traceability, even where the internet won’t reach

The challenge

Trace products from five factories with poor connectivity — registering serial numbers on a fast-moving conveyor, for both boxed and loose items.

What we built

Mobile hotspots handle connectivity, scanners are placed where they work best, and QR codes map to serial numbers — with box labels auto-generated from each box’s capacity.

The outcome

Every product traceable individually from the start of production to finish, despite the factory-floor obstacles.

One catalogue — every region, every currency

The challenge

A worldwide sales team needed pricing in HKD, MYR and USD, region-specific stock, tiered pricing controls and live production data.

What we built

A QR-coded, URL-based product catalogue served through a mobile web app, with pre-defined user profiles controlling regional access and authorisation levels.

Sales, production and inventory in one app — usable wherever a rep is in the world.

Smarter production scheduling, less idle time

The challenge

Balance fluctuating demand, shifting priorities and overtime costs — with an algorithm to cut non-production activity.

What we built

Scenario planning and blind-spot modelling drove a sequence-optimisation approach, proven first in an MS Excel prototype built with Macros and VBA.

The outcome

The client rolled the model straight into daily operations — and it set the blueprint for a full system.
